A Santa Clara County, California District Attorney Investigator investigated a case in which a subject advertised entertainment events with top named talent. The ticket prices were good but not cheap. Consumers purchased the tickets only to find out that there was no event, and the talent was never booked for the venue. This scam stopped in Santa Clara County after the arrest was made, however it has continued in different parts of the nation.
