Clergy Scam. Is nothing sacred?
These suspects prey on the true believers. They pull on your heart strings and use religion to guilt you into donating. The problem is they are not members of the clergy. They are members of a criminal organization preying on good people wanting to make a difference.
Giving Gift cards is always a sign of a fraud. If you want to donate make sure you find the right place to donate. Don’t rely on someone who contacts you.
