Tips on Avoiding Scams

There are lots of examples on how to avoid being scammed. The most poignant is if it is too good to be true then it is not true. Hang up, disconnect, block, and avoid.

Never give money to and agency or person on the internet that you just met, or they reached out to you. If you are not sure call the local police or sheriff’s office or look up the number yourself. Never provide personal information and do not wire money, purchase gift cards or use Venmo, Cash App,  PayPal, Bit Coin, etc.

Your credit card is the only protection you have. The best way is to be educated on the scams is the reason NABI has the cons and scams section on our website.
