About the conference

The Conference

The 2025 National Conference is scheduled for November 5-6, 2025, in Paramus, New Jersey in association with CVS Health and the Jewelers Security Alliance and hosted by the Paramus Police Department. The conference will be held on the second floor of the Paramus Life Safety Complex at 1 Carlough Drive in Paramus from 0800-1700 on Wednesday and Thursday, November 5-6, 2025 with check-in from 0700-0800 during which time attendees will be provided stylus pens, ID tags, notepads, and a thumb drive containing handouts.

At the conclusion of the conference we will provide certificates of training which may entitle you to 16 hours of training credit.

 
We will provide coffee and breakfast pastries starting at 0700 on both days. Break snacks will be provided on both days. Meals are on your own. There are several hotels and restaurants in the vicinity of the conference site. There will be an opportunity to network with your colleagues and peers and make new partnerships at the Bonefish which is next to the Fairfield Inn starting at 1800 on November 5th. 
 
The conference will include: 
  • Domestic & Transnational crimes by groups & individuals,
  • Theft groups and organized retail crime,
  • Bunco (an overview of cons, scams and fraud),
  • ATM related offenses (skimming, jackpotting, distraction, cash outs),
  • Home Repair scams,
  • Quick Change Scams,
  • Burglary  investigations,
  • Fake Gold Swaps,
  • Distraction Theft,
  • And much, much more.  

Due to the nature of information presented, a detailed agenda will be sent to registrants in mid to late October.
